APS (Atlanta Public Schools) has 91 learning sites, which include 58 neighborhood schools, 6 partner schools, 18 charter schools, 2 citywide single-gender academies, and 3 alternative programs. As of July 2019, district enrollment is approximately 52,000 students.

Atlanta is a college town with 270,000 students attending its 70 universities, liberal arts colleges, and technical colleges. Notable among them are Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Georgia, Agnes Scott College, and Art Institute of Atlanta, which supplies Atlanta’s robust film industry with top talent.
Atlanta’s Druid Hills neighborhood is home to Emory University. ranked #21 in U.S. News and World Report’s 2020 National Universities Rankings.
